Lake Quinault

Lake Quinault is a lake on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington state.

It lies in the valley of glacial incurred Quinault River on the southern edge of the Olympic National Park in the northwestern United States.

Lake Quinault Quinault Indian Nation is part of, and is accessible via U.S. Highway 101.

Tourist activities include fishing and hiking. A more than 45 -km-long road leads to the lake, with views of the lake. At the southern end a system of trails that are maintained by the National Forest Service and are suitable for day-trippers exists.

On the south side of the lake is the historic Lake Quinault Lodge, part of the Olympic National Forest. On the north side are mainly private houses and small tourism businesses.
