Geography

Geographical Location

Lappersdorf lies in the region of Regensburg just before the mouth of the rain into the Danube. From the rain the center separates the Federal Highway 93 (exit Regensburg -Nord). Lappersdorf is immediately adjacent to the northwest by the Upper Palatinate district capital and Foreign, which overlooked the sign, often hardly recognizable as a separate municipality. The name Lappersdorf bears the municipality officially only since 1958 ( previously Oppersdorf ).

History

Lappersdorf 1185 was first mentioned in documents as Leutfridestorf. Later it became the official residence and belonged to the Duchy of Neuburg -Sulzbach and his court Hainsacker; since 1777 the area was part of the Electorate of Bavaria. Originally called the town Oppersdorf and was renamed on 19 March 1958 in community Lappersdorf. As part of the municipal reform, which came into force on 1 May 1978, the municipalities Hainsacker, Kareth and Lappersdorf voluntarily joined together to present-day municipality. Lappersdorf was raised on 20 September 1997 on the market.
