Lasco Lascoter

The Lasco Lascoter was a transport aircraft manufactured in Australia by Larkin Aircraft Supply Company.

History and construction

The Lasco Lascoter was a sixteenth -seat transport and postal aircraft by Larkin Aircraft Supply Company ( Lasco ). The Lascoter received the certificate of airworthiness first designed and built in Australia aircraft. The machine was a strutted high wing stoffbespanntem Stahlrohrumpf, conventional tail unit and fixed spur wheel chassis. They also had a closed cabin for the passengers and the pilot. The development of Lascoter began in June 1928 simultaneously with the Lascondor, with whom she had 90 % identical components. The first flight took place on 25 May 1929. Although it was damaged during a landing, she was awarded the Certificate of Airworthiness on 22 July 1929.
