Laurențiu Roșu

Laurentiu Rosu Dumitru ( born October 26, 1975 in Iaşi ) is a former Romanian football player and current coach. He played a total of 216 games in the Romanian League 1 and the Spanish Primera División. From 1994 to 1998 he won with Steaua Bucharest five times the Romanian championship.

Playing career

Steaua Bucharest

Laurentiu Rosu started his career as a professional footballer in his homeland at the Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest. Not only for him personally, but also for his team ran the seven years from 1993 to 2000, where Rosu played for the Romanians, very good. So get five league titles, three Cup wins and three Super Cup victories in the 1990s. After the Euro 2000 championship Rosu moved to Spain.

Spain

After joining in the Spanish first division relegation candidates to CD Numancia he suffered in the first season relegation with his new team. In the summer of 2008, his expiring contract was not renewed by the club and Rosu moved to FC Cádiz in the Segunda División B third-rate, where a year later he ended his career.

Internationally

Laurentiu Rosu was Romanian national team. In 38 international matches get him five hits. He also took part in Euro 2000.

Coaching career

At the beginning of the 2010/11 season was Rosu assistant coach Juan Ramón López Caro at FC Vaslui, in early October 2010 but was released in conjunction with this. End of October 2012, he was assistant coach Cosmin Contra at Petrolul Ploieşti.
