Le Monde's 100 Books of the Century

The 100 books of the century are a list of books that have been assessed as the hundred best of the twentieth century. The list was drawn up in the spring of 1999, according to an opinion poll, which was conducted by the French retailer Fnac and the Paris newspaper Le Monde.
