Le Monde diplomatique

French edition

The first issue appeared in May 1954 with the headline " Old Diplomacy - New Diplomacy ". It now has a circulation of around 300,000 copies. 38 editions in 16 other languages ​​(26 including online spending ) lead to a total circulation of about 2.2 million around the world.

Le Monde Diplomatique owned 49 % by the association L'association des Amis du Monde Diplomatique, whose members mostly are also readers of the newspaper. Every two months, published in French magazine ' Manière de voir ". The series, begun in 1987, consists of special issues, mostly with already published articles.
