Le Tréhou

Le Tréhou ( Breton to Treoù - Leon ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in the west with 604 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located about 30 kilometers (km) south of the Atlantic coast at the entrance of the English Channel, 12 km east of the bay Rade de Brest, on the edge of the Regional Park Armorica (French Parc naturel régional d' Armorica ). The major city and port of Brest is located 26 km west of Paris and about 480 km to the east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Landerneau Landivisiau and there is the next departures of the highway E 50 towards Rennes and Daoulas one on the E 60 direction Nantes.

The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris and Landerneau hold regional trains towards Morlaix / Rennes and Quimper / Nantes.

Near the city of Brest in Guipavas is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
