Lectionary 9

Lectionary 9 ( according to the numbering of Gregory -Aland as sigla ℓ 9 called ) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament on parchment leaves. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 13th century.

Description

The Code contains lessons from the Gospels of John, Matthew and Luke. It is a Lectionary ( Evangelistarium ). It was written in Greek minuscule on 260 parchment leaves (30 x 23.8 cm). Each side has 2 columns and 24 rows.

Originally owned the manuscript Colbert, as well as the lectionaries ℓ 7, ℓ 8 ℓ 10, ℓ 11 and ℓ 12 was investigated by Johann Jakob Wettstein and Johann Martin Augustin Scholz.

The code is located in the Bibliothèque nationale de France under the signature Gr. 307 in Paris.
