Leigh Howard ( born October 18, 1989 in Geelong, Victoria ( Australia) ) is an Australian track and road racing cyclist.

Leigh Howard was 2006 Australian Junior Track Cycling Champion Scratch. At the World Championships in Ghent, he was first in the team pursuit and at the Oceania Games, he won the points race. The next year he won at the National Track Cycling Junior Championship gold in the individual pursuit, the 1000m time trial and in the Omnium. At the World Championships in Aguascalientes Howard won the bronze medal in the individual pursuit gold in the team pursuit and silver in the Madison. Later he won with Miles Olman the UIV Cup in Amsterdam and Dortmund. Since 2008, Howard moves into the elite class. In the same year he won the team pursuit and the scratch race at the Australian Track Cycling Championships in Sydney. At the World Championships in Manchester, he secured the silver medal in the Omnium.

On the road, Howard won a stage of the 2007 Tour De Bortoli and three sections at the Tour of Tasmania. In 2008 he drove for the Australian Continental team Southaustralia.com - AIS. In his first year there, he was successful on a stage of the Tour de Berlin. After he moved to Team HTC - Columbia in 2010, he won in his first race equal to the fourth stage of the Tour of Oman.
