Lennox International

Lennox was founded in 1895 in Marshalltown, Iowa ( USA) by Dave Lennox, who invented the first riveted heating furnace of the world and sales. Today, the international headquarters is located in Dallas, Texas.

Lennox is a leading provider of climate and air handling solutions, with net sales of over EUR 3 billion. The company develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of products for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment markets. The company employs approximately 18,000 people worldwide, including about 2,000 in Europe.

The Lennox Germany GmbH was formed on 1 June 1999 with the merger of the Ruhaak GmbH, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main and the refAC companies in Barsbuettel in Hamburg, Berlin and Willich. Since 1 July 2000, the Ruhaak GmbH and refAC companies operate officially under the name Lennox Germany GmbH. Since 1 January 2010, the Lennox Germany GmbH has only one branch with its own service personnel. The site is Hamburg. The service planning and the procurement of spare parts is coordinated by Nijkerk / Holland from.

The tasks of the Lennox Germany GmbH includes advising plan forming engineering firms, the distribution of climate and ventilation systems, the refrigeration installation and commissioning to maintenance. The production of Lennox for the European and North African region and the Middle East are in Mions and Longvic in France as well as in Burgos, Spain.

The products range from portable air conditioner to air and water- cooled chillers for use in buildings and production facilities.
