Leo Stein (writer)

Leo Stein, actually Leo Rosenstein ( born February 23, 1861 in Lviv, † July 28, 1921 in Vienna), was a librettist and playwright.

Leo Stein worked closely with the composer Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar, Emmerich Kalman, Oskar Nedbal and the librettist Victor Leon. Together with this, he contributed as an author to Lehár's world successes.

Leo Stein's grave is located in Vienna's Central Cemetery, Age Israelite part, Goal 1
