Lester Peak is an ice-free peak south of Hyde Glacier in the Edson Hills in the West Antarctic Heritage Range.

The mountain was mapped by United States Geological Survey as part of the acquisition of the area in the years 1961-1966 through site surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names by Lester A. Johnson, who worked as a meteorologist at the U.S. research station Little America V in 1958.
