Let It Go (Devlin song)

Let It Go is a song by British rapper Devlin in collaboration with the also British musician Labrinth. It was first published on 28 January 2011 and is the third single from Devlin's album Bud, Sweat and Beers.

Music Video

The music video for the song was first released on 3 December 2010 at Devlin's official YouTube channel. One sees Devlin and his girlfriend, matching the text passages that had a fight, but still love. Devlin sings matching " It's time to let it go " ( "It's time to let go "). August 2012 had the video around 3.5 million views. Henry Schofield was the video director. An author of The Sun described the video as " insanely brilliant " ( "mind- bogglingly brilliant" ). Devlin said that he was glad to be able to even be an actor.

Let It Go was also placed in the British UK Top 75 and in the UK R & B charts. In the R & B charts they stayed a total of 12 weeks in the Top 40, the maximum placement was 5 February 2011 No. 19 The final placing in the top 40 was two weeks later, on February 19, 27th place in the UK Top 75 to join on 22 January at No. 65 a, fell into the following week on 70 place, got into the next number 59, a week later again dropped to 70, which is the last position in the top 75.

Criticism

Maddie says Daniels of BBM that the song is listening to in the first 16 seconds like a song a boy band, but once Devlin start rapping, the song will interesting. Says Sarah Bargiela of entertainment- focus.com that the song a catchy chorus, a good lyrics content and have a great production was, but lacked the song of the "X- Factor".
