- LET Aircraft Industries, a.s. is a Czech aircraft manufacturer in Kunovice (formerly Kunowitz ) in Zlín, specializing in small passenger and gliders.

History

The company was founded in 1936 as a repair work of Avia aircraft (mainly Ba -33 and B -534 fighter planes ). 1952 a new factory was built and switched production to Aeros Ae - 45S in 1954. The first flight of the trip airplane L-200 took place in 1957 and the first flight of the glider L-13 Blanik 1958.

Production of MiG- components

The production of the rear fuselage parts of the Soviet MiG -21F began in 1962. In 1963 the production of the jet trainer Aero L - 29 " Delfin " began and the first flight of agricultural aircraft Z -37 it was held.
