Leupoldsgrün

Leupold Green is a community in the Upper Franconian district court and a member of the administrative community looking stone. The community is located about nine kilometers west of the county town yard on the A9 motorway (junction 34 yard - West).

History

The first mention of Leupoldsgrün dates from the year 1335. 's Family Lüchau is detectable in the period 1398-1668. Subsequently, the estate passed to the family tree of tree village, but already in 1725 became extinct. The former Office of the Principality of Bayreuth was in the Peace of Tilsit in 1807 to France and came to Bavaria in 1810. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.

Incorporations

On 1 July 1972, the formerly independent municipality Lippert was incorporated.
