Life

Lev Chorny was born in Moscow. His father was a colonel in the Imperial Russian Army. In the aftermath of the Russian Revolution of 1905 caused many anarchist groups in the Russian Empire, which had particularly attracted to young people. Tschorny already joined early anarchist groups and later published books on anarchism. He was influenced by the individualist anarchists Max Stirner and Benjamin Tucker and asked for the total emancipation of the individual from the shackles of society. He urged the Nietzschean transvaluation of all values ​​in Russian society and saw the anarcho -communist Peter Kropotkin's ideas as a threat to the freedom of the individual, and she refused. Because of his revolutionary activities, he was banished from the tsarist regime to Siberia.
