Lhaviyani Atoll

The Faadhippolhu Atoll (also Fadiffolu, Dhivehi: ފ ާ ދ ި އ ް ޕ ޮ ޅ ު ) is an atoll of the Maldives. It lies north of the North Malé Atoll and is congruent with the area of administrative Atoll Lhaviyani ( ޅ ). With a total area 701.46 km ² of the Faadhippolhu Atoll is the twelfth largest atoll of the Maldives. The aggregate land area of the islands is, however, only 7.20 km ² or about one percent of the total area.
Geography
Five of the islands of the atoll Faadhippolhu are inhabited. These are Hinnavaru, Kurendhoo, Maafilaafushi, Naifaru and Olhuvelifushi. In addition, include the following uninhabited or used for tourism purposes Islands to Atoll: Aligau, Bahurukabeeru, Bodhuhuraa, Bodufaahuraa, Bodugaahuraa, Dhidhdhoo, Dhirubaafushi, Diffushi, Faadhoo, Fainuaadham - Huraa, Fehigili, Felivaru, Fushifaru, Gaaerifaru, Govvaafushi, Hadoolaafushi, Hiriyadhoo, Hudhufushi, Huravalhi, Kalhumanjehuraa, Kalhuoiyfinolhu, Kanifushi, Kanuhuraa, Komandoo, Kudadhoo, Kuredhdhoo, Lhohi, Lhossalafushi, Maabinhuraa, Maavaafushi, Madhiriguraidhoo, Madivaru, Maduvvari, Maidhoo, Mayyafushi, Medhadhihuraa, Medhafushi, Meedhaahuraa, Mey - yyaafushi, Musleygihuraa, Ookolhufinolhu, Raiyruhhuraa, Selhlhifushi, Thilamaafushi, Varihuraa, Vavvaru, Veligadu, Veyvah and Vihafarufinolhu.
