Liam Henderson (footballer, born 1996)

Liam Henderson ( born April 25, 1996, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Celtic Glasgow.

Career

Association

Liam Henderson began his career in the youth of Heart of Midlothian. For the club from Edinburgh Henderson played until 2008 before he came to the Youth Academy of Celtic Glasgow. For the Bhoys midfielder played from the season 2013/14 UEFA Youth League. His debut with the professionals gave Henderson at the age of 17 years under team manager Neil Lennon in December 2013 against FC Motherwell when he came off the bench in 84 minutes for Scott Brown. In January 2014 he extended his contract at Celtic for three more years.

National

Liam Henderson has been playing for the U-15 for the Scottish Junior National Teams. In 2011, first active in the U- 15, Henderson came in the next two years in the U-16, U -17 and U-19 to inserts.
