Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda

Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda OMI ( born April 7, 1959 in Oshikuku, Namibia ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop of Windhoek in Namibia.

Life

Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda joined the Congregation of the Oblates ( OMI ) and studied in Cedara in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa and Melbourne, Australia. He was ordained a priest on 25 June 1988. 1998 Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Pertusa and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Windhoek. He received his episcopal consecration Boniface Haushiku he was appointed Archbishop of Windhoek on February 7, 1999. In 2004.

Many years he was chairman of the Catholic AIDS Action, Namibia.
