Lichtenberg (Bavarian Forest)

The Lichtenberg ( 1028 m ) is a mountain in the Bavarian Forest in the southeast of the city Freyung and located in National Park Bavarian Forest in around two kilometers away to the Czech border. Damage caused by bark beetles lead to its ongoing deforestation.

The next colonization is the district Bischofsreut the community Haidmuehle. Next neighboring mountains are in the west of Sulzberg ( 1146 m) and to the east of the Kaprad ( 1019 m), which is located in the Czech Republic.
