The King's Lily ( Lilium regale, synonym Lilium Myriophyllum ;岷江 百合Chinese, Pinyin Minjiang bǎihé ) is a plant of the genus Lilium (Lilium ) in the trumpet lilies section. The king Lily is often planted in home gardens and is because of its long durability an excellent cut flower.

Description

The king Lily reaches a height of 50 cm to 180 cm. The bulbs are round and up to 10 cm, they are covered with lanceolate white scales, which change color purple in the air. The stalk is papillose and forms at the base of roots, the leaves narrow and linear, up to 7 cm long and 3 mm wide. You are papillose on the bottom of the median nerve and at the edges and einnervig at the edge.

The plant flowers from June to July, 1-8 in an umbel horizontally protruding, funnel-shaped, fragrant flowers. The flowers consist of six 9-11 cm long and 1.5-2.0 cm wide petals. Dissemination

The King's Lily can be found on rocky slopes, often on sandbanks, at altitudes 800-2500 m above sea level.
