Limbiate

Limbiate is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 34,370 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. The village belonged until 2004 to the province of Milan and has since been part of the newly created Province of Monza and Brianza.

The community is located about ten kilometers north of Milan and about 10 km west of Monza on the Strada Statale 527 West of the village flows the Lambro. Parts of the municipality belong to the Parco delle Groane. The amusement park città satellite is currently closed but will be opened in Milan in 2015 back to the EXPO.
