List of administrative divisions of Beijing

The list of administrative divisions of Beijing offers an overview of the development of the residents of the districts of the Chinese capital Beijing. Listed are also the area, population density and the location of the district in the city of Beijing.

The direct-controlled city of Beijing in the People's Republic of China is divided into 14 districts and two counties. The administrative area of Beijing represents no coherent urban area, but would be similar to its outside the urban core ( high density, closed local form) dominant rural settlement structure rather with a small province. Administratively Beijing is rather the German city states of Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen comparable.
