List of Asterix volumes

The list of vernacular editions of Asterix contains translations of the comic book series in dialects of the German language area. They appeared mostly at the Stuttgart Ehapa publisher who also published the high German editions. Further volumes on Schwyzer German and Alsatian published by the French publisher Dargaud and Les Éditions Albert -René; nine volumes have been translated into Luxembourgish and published by Editioun Cactus Createam or the Saint - Paul - Dréckerei.

The translations in the respective dialects are carried out by local experts, including well-known cabaret artists such as Dieter Hallervorden ( Berlinerisch ), Günter ram ( Lemberger), Herbert Bonewitz ( Mainzerisch ), Jürgen Hart ( Saxon ), Kalle Pohl (Kölsch ) or Urban Priol ( Main Fränkisch ). With H.C. Artmann ( Viennese ), Felix Mitterer ( Tyrolean ) and Reinhard P. Gruber ( Styrian ) are also writers and poets, and with a well-known television presenter, Armin among the translators.
