This is a list of cities in Malta.

By far the largest agglomeration in Malta is the area around the capital city of Valletta has a population of 255 763 (as of 1 January 2006). Thus 66 percent of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region. The city of Valletta but has only 6,315 inhabitants and is ranked 27 of the largest cities of Malta.
