List of cities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

This is a list of cities in the DR Congo.

By far the largest agglomeration in the DR Congo Kinshasa, with a population of 9,463,749 (forecast for 1 January 2012). Thus, 13 percent of the country's population in the capital region focus.

In the following table are the cities of over 50,000 inhabitants, the results of the Census ( Census ) from 1 July 1984, a calculation for January 1, 2005, 2007 and 2012 as well as the higher-level administrative unit ( province ), to which the city belongs, listed. Kinshasa has the status of a neutral city ( ville neutre ) and belong to any province. The population figures refer to the actual city without suburban belt.
