List of Roman victory columns

This is a list of Roman triumphal columns. Roman victory columns consisted of either monolithic or stone were piled from column drums; in the latter case often resulted in the hollow interior up a spiral staircase to the top.

The first column applies the Triumph 113 AD dedicated to Trajan's Column, which has characterized the new type of architecture both in its appearance and in its political propaganda function to this day. The imperial capitals of Rome and Constantinople Opel accommodate most ancient victories columns.

The list is sorted by the date of completion. All dimensions are given in meters; here it must be remembered that the column structure is based on the Roman foot, to have used to determine harmonic structure proportions of the ancient architects.
