List of ships of the Spanish Armada

The Spanish Armada was formed from 1586. This list enumerates the leaked England for the invasion ships, and their fate after the failed invasion.

The Armada (Gran Armada ) was in several squadrons ( Escuadra ) divided, most of which were named after the region was responsible for the equipment. The fleet consisted of a variety of ship types - purpose-built war ships ( galleons, Naos / carracks ), armed merchantmen ( Pataches, Zabra, pinnaces ), slow transporters ( Urcas ) and even some rowing warships ( galleons, galleys ). These ships were only partly built on Spanish shipyards, many were German, French or Italian (Venice, Genoa ) vessels that were commandeered along with the crews or rented.
