List of United States Representatives from Maine
This list lists all the politicians who have belonged to the House of Representatives of the United States for the state of Maine since 1820. Before the state had split off as a result of the Missouri Compromise of Massachusetts, the area ( District of Maine) by the corresponding members from Massachusetts was represented in Congress; last the Maine district stood to seven mandates. After a short transition period with an MP of the state of Maine introduced already in 1821 seven members of Congress. Between 1833 and 1843 there was an eighth constituency for a short time.
