Lithuanian National Badminton Championships
Lithuanian Championships in Badminton will be held in 1963, during the existence of the Soviet Union as the championships of the Soviet Republic. The discharge of team championships began in 1964, by Junior Championships in 1967. International Championships of Lithuania there since 1992. They found, however, does not take place annually.
The championships were from the USSR Championship forth in badminton. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine launch their own championships within the European Badminton Union EBU, while Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, a new home in the Asian Badminton Association found.
