The Litte, also Littewasser, is a tributary of the Großschweidnitzer water in Saxony.

Course

The Litte arises from two spring-fed streams, which unite at the Kleindehsaer mill.

  • The right one is the meadow Litte, it springs into 360 m above sea level. NN in Cunewalder Halbau district and flows through Kleindehsa.
  • The forest Litte arises between the Hochstein (542 m ) and the judges mountain in the eastern part of Czornebohkette in the bush houses and runs between the villages Kleindehsa and Großdehsa.

After the confluence of the Litte runs to the southeast and flows around the Bubenik on two sides. The further course runs south of the fox mountain ( 345 m), the larch mountain ( 331 m) until you come to the nuns mountain ( 315 m) at Großschweidnitz where it turns sharply to the south and flows around the grounds of the regional hospital and the manor around to Großschweidnitzer water. The Litte has a total length of 9 km.

Inflows

In the Litte lead several major rivers that flow solely from the west. Coming from Streitfeld the dispute fields of water, of Lawalde opens the Laubaer water, which is sometimes called Old Litte. The last major tributary is the sandy water that opens the nuns mountain. The reason for this is the place in earlier times washout of a new fluidized bed in the west and south of the ridge between Bubenik, Fuchsberg and Larch Mountain in Lößlehmboden. Environment
