Live '88 is the second live album by British Pop-/Rockband Supertramp. It was during several concerts of the 1988 tour included, the last tour with long-time Supertramp member and bassist Dougie Thomson. The record was released a year after the last Supertramp album " Free as a Bird" in October 1988 and sold sluggishly.

Description

The album " Live '88 " results from the 1988 tour, appeared at the Super Tramp, for example, in these countries: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Netherlands and Spain.

From the classic lineup, which acted as recently at the album " Free as a Bird" as a quartet (piano, vocals), the long-time band members John Helliwell ( saxophone, background vocals), Bob Siebenberg were with the tour next to the tape head Rick Davies (drums ) and Dougie Thomson (bass guitar) here. After the 1988 tour, the band paused to until 1997 to release their next studio album, Some Things Never Change.
