Lockroy
Lockroy, actually Joseph -Philippe Simon ( born February 17, 1803 in Turin, † 19 January 1891 in Paris ) was a French librettist and actor. Later he became a member of the Comédie - Française, where he was considered one of the outstanding actor and 1848 worked as administrateur général.
Since 1840, he emerged as a writer of comedies, vaudeville and opera libretti. His son was the politician Édouard Lockroy.
