The single was released on I Stand Usher's studio album Here and was released on 28 April 2008 as a digital download single. It was written by Usher himself with the support of Polow Da Don, Lamar Taylor, Young Jeezy, Ryon Lovett, Keith Thomas and Darnell Dalto.
Background
The original song is called Love In This Club and is sung by Usher and Young Jeezy. Usher said in an interview with MTV: "I wanted it to be a surprise, as in the kind of a shock. The remix is much crazier than the original piece. " Commenting on the collaboration with Beyonce Knowles, he said: "It is a pleasure for me to have worked with her. I have been trying for years to record a duet with Beyoncé, but we were both very busy. Even if it is only a remix, for me it is really a special recording ".
Reception
Shaheem Raid of MTV highlighted the singing Usher. On the other hand criticized Josh Ells from the magazine Blender, the piece would be two of the most desirable sound chaste people on this planet.

In the Billboard R & B charts made it the single at number 7 Only Download succeeded Love In This Club (Part II), so to achieve a success. In Germany, the single was not released.
