LSK Kvinner FK

Lillestrøm SK Kvinner is a women's football club from the Norwegian city of Lillestrøm. The first team plays in the Norwegian league 's top series.

History

The roots of the association are the club Setskog IK, who in 1987 was a founding member of the single-track Topp series. On 10 October 1989, the club changed its name to Setskog / Høland FK. The 1992 season was the most successful of the association. First, the runner-up was celebrated, then they suggested the Master Asker SK in the cup final with 3-0. 1995 could again be celebrated the runner-up. A year later the club would almost relegated. After the 2000 season, the club changed its name again and since then is called Team Strømmen FK. In the following years they finished most places in midfield. 2005, the club was runner-up for the third time. The 2006 season ended Team Strømmen FK in fourth place. Since 1 January 2010, the team appears under the name Lillestrøm SK Kvinner to.

The club plays its home matches at the stadium Strømmen. For the 2007 season, the former national Hege Riise took over as coach.

2012, Lillestrøm secured in the penultimate round for the first time the championship.
