Luca Marin

Luca Marin ( born April 9, 1986 in Vittoria, Ragusa, Italy ) is an Italian swimmer. His special discipline in which he has won five silver medals at European and World Championships, the 400 m Medley.

Career

In the European Short Course 2006, he won the gold medal against world record holder László Cseh. He took on Italy in the Olympic Games in Athens, where he reached the tenth place.

Marin was first with the French swimmer Laure Manaudou and later romantically involved with Italian swimmer Federica Pellegrini. He lives and trains in Turin.
