Lucea is a port city on the north coast of Jamaica, on the edge of Tom Pipers Bay. Lucea is the capital of Hanover Parish, in 2001 there lived 6,002 people. The acting Governor-General of Jamaica Kenneth Hall was born here, as was the painter and writer Barrington Watson.

In the 18th century, it was a center of sugar processing. The protected and well-developed port was used until the 1960s, mainly for export of bananas. Today, primarily spices and timber are exported.
