Alfalfa is a town in Luzerne County of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The statuierte as Borough site is located eight kilometers north of Wilkes -Barre near the Susquehanna River. History
Alfalfa was established in 1807 and incorporated in 1882. First, the village was known by the name Hartseph Hollow and was renamed in 1866 in Mill Hollow. As the village in 1882 organized themselves as Borough, she again received a new name and was renamed after the County in alfalfa.
