Lyman Young

Lyman Young ( born October 20, 1893 in Chicago, Illinois; † 12 February 1984 in Port Angeles, Washington) was an American cartoonist and comic book artist, and the older brother of Chic Young. His most famous comic strip Tim Tyler 's Luck appeared under various titles in the German-speaking countries.

Life and work

After training at the Chicago Art Institute Young served during World War II in the Army. He worked after the war, first as a salesman before 1924 Strip The Kelly Kids by C. W.
