Lysica

Łysica (Hungarian Trencsénladány - Liszica to 1902, 1902 to 1907 Trencsénkopár ) is a Slovak parish in Okres Žilina, in the southern parts of the Highlands Kysucká in a tributary ( Rúbanskový Potok ) of Waagzuflusses Varínka, about 14 km west of Žilina away.

History

The place is first mentioned in writing in 1475 as Lyzica and belonged to the reign of Stary Hrad / Óvár. The residents worked primarily in agriculture and animal husbandry operated, but also featured cloth goods and wooden objects and tools forth. During the Slovak National Uprising German forces burned the settlements Kramarovia and Ďurčovia (both north-east of the village on the municipal boundary to Lutiše located ) down and spent the majority of men in concentration camps. 1976 was the site of a central water supply, since 1996 also a connection to the gas network.
