M. O. H. Farook

MOH Farook (Mon, Hassan Farook Maricar, Tamil: .. எம் ஓ ஆசன் பாரூக் மரைக்காயர்; born September 6, 1937 in Karaikal, † January 26, 2012 in Chennai) was an Indian politician ( Indian National Congress and DMK ) from the union territory of Puducherry ( Pondicherry ). Life

MOH Farook was born in 1937 in Karaikal, then a part of French India. His family is from the community of Maraikkayar ( Maricar ), a Shafi ʿ itischen group of Tamil Muslims, who traditionally settled in the coastal areas.
