Mabandla Dlamini

Mabandla Fred Ndavombili Dlamini ( born 1 November 1930) is a Swazi politician and served from 1979 to 1983 Prime Minister of Swaziland.

Prince Mabandla Dlamini is a member of the royal family and worked prior to his appointment as Prime Minister as a manager on a sugar plantation. Until the death of Sobhuza II in 1982, he supported the government's policy. Then he tried to political reforms and began the task of fighting corruption in public administration. Additional enemies he made with his South -critical attitude towards their apartheid policy. As the inland country was economically dependent entirely on the big neighbor, he was overthrown by conservative members of the political elite and replaced by Bhekimpi Dlamini.
