Macherio

Macherio is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7189 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. The community is located about 6 kilometers north of Monza and about 20 kilometers north- west of Milan at the Parco della Valle del Lambro.

Traffic

Macherio shares with the district Canonico the community Triuggio a station on the non-electrified railway Monza - Molteno. The breakpoint Macherio - Sovico on the railway line Seregno Ponte San Pietro is of lesser importance.
