Madeline Zima

Madeline Rose Zima ( born September 16, 1985 in New Haven, Connecticut ) is an American actress and film producer who achieved her role as Grace Sheffield on the sitcom The Nanny great notoriety.

Life and career

Madeline Zima is the daughter of Marie and Dennis Zima. She has two younger sisters, Vanessa and Yvonne, who are also actresses. Your last name means " winter " in Polish. She lives with her family near Los Angeles, California.

Zima began her career at the age of 24 months with an appearance in a commercial for Downey. They still had thereupon in several local commercials in New York City. In the thriller The Hand That Rocks the Cradle 1992 she gave her feature film debut.

Notoriety she gained through the sitcom The Nanny, where she played the role of Grace Sheffield from 1993 to 1999. From 2007 to 2011 Zima played the role of Mia Lewis, a precocious youth, in the television series Californication on the side of David Duchovny and Natascha McElhone. She was one of the main cast of the first and second season and had a guest role in season three and four. From 2009 to 2010, she starred in the series Heroes as Gretchen Berg, the bisexual friend of Claire Bennet ( Hayden Panettiere ). In 2009, she played the role of Jill in the horror film The Collector. In 2010 she starred alongside Renée Zellweger and Forest Whitaker in My Own Love Song.
