Magirus

The Iveco Magirus AG is a company that develops commercial vehicles, manufactures and distributes.

Developed at its headquarters in Ulm, and the company manufactures vehicles and equipment for the fire and disaster protection. Company History

The Iveco Magirus AG has its origin (now Deutz AG ) in the truck, bus and fire engine manufacturers Magirus, which founded in 1865 and 1936 von Humboldt -Deutz was taken. Deutz led the production of commercial vehicles under the brand Magirus -Deutz on. In 1974, the company Deutz Magirus- Deutz AG to divest the division the next year and bring in the new company Iveco. The euro crisis led to a sharp drop in demand for commercial vehicles. The orders were received in 2009 alone at the Iveco Magirus AG fell by 56 percent.
