Magsaysay is a Philippine municipality in the province of Davao del Sur. It has 49 141 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

Just as in large parts of the province of Davao del Sur rural area, a large part of the economy is based in Magsayay on the cultivation of rice.
