Sulop, Davao del Sur
Sulop is a Philippine municipality in the province of Davao del Sur on the island of Mindanao. It has 32 163 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

Geography
The place is situated on the eastern coast of the province of Davao del Sur in the Gulf of Davao in Padada Valley. The place is located south of the hills, which extends at the foot of Mount Apo.
Economy
In Sulop the agricultural economy is a major factor. In the local area rice, abaca, wheat, sugar cane, banana, mango and coconut are grown.
The districts along the shoreline living mainly from fishing. The diversity of species in the fish-rich Gulf of Davao provides for the livelihood of many families.
Climate
The rainiest months are December, January and February. The months of April, June and July, however, are rather dry. Nevertheless, rainfall can occur throughout the year.
