Mahmoud Mohieldin

Mahmoud Mohieldin (Arabic: محمود محيي الدين, DMG Mahmoud Muhyi ad - Dīn; born January 15, 1965) is an Egyptian politician.

Life

Mahmoud Mohieldin was in the political council of the Egyptian National Democratic Party and in the Secretariat.

He is professor of economics and political science at Cairo University. In 1995 he enrolled at the University of Warwick, a dissertation on the topic of financial liberalization in developing countries. He sat on the Board of the Central Bank of Egypt and is Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Egyptian National Democratic Party.

From 1996 to 2002 he was an advisor to Finance Minister Youssef Boutros Ghali. He headed the Cabinet Nazif, the Ministry of State-owned enterprises (later Ministry of Investment ), the state-owned enterprises privatized as THA and supervisory authority of the SEZs was. In September 2010 he was a director of the World Bank.
