Majid ( be of Arab مجد madschada, DMG maǧada, glorious, highly praised ') is the German spelling of Arabic names or names of two components. As with the similar Hakim, they differ in that one with a long a and short i ( ماجد, DMG Māǧid ) is written, conversely Majid ( مجيد, DMG Maǧīd ). However, the differences in meaning are fine with Majid.
