Make Do and Mend

Make Do and Mend is an American melodic hardcore / punk band, which was founded in 2006 in West Hartford, Connecticut, but now lives in Boston, Massachusetts. The Bandl together with the band Defeater, La Dispute, Touché Amoré and Pianos Become the Teeth The Wave movement, but asserted in interviews that this is rather RELATES a joke within those bands as a particular movement or subgenre of hardcore.

History

Make Do and Mend was established in 2006 in West Hartford, but later moved to Boston. In 2007 they released their self- distributed EP We're All Just Living. This was followed by the EP Bodies of Water. Both publications were later re-released by Panic Records. Subsequently, the band toured with, among others, Set Your Goals, Comeback Kid and Title Fight.

On 9 November 2010 was released their first LP End Measured Mile, received good reviews. Jordan Dreyer, the singer of the band La Dispute, can be heard in the song Ghostal as a guest musician. Make Do and Mend later signed with Paper Plastick to bring out their album on vinyl. 2011 appeared a split EP with Touché Amoré.

Published in 2011, the label Holy Roar Records the complete discography of the band on a double CD. This includes the two EPs and End Measured Mile. On November 22, the acoustic EP Part and Parcel, in addition to three new versions of their songs LP containing a Touché Amoré cover and two new songs appeared.

2012 joined the band to Rise Records and, in February their new LP Everything You Ever Loved on. Recorded, mixed and produced by Matt Bayles it was ( Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Botch ) in Seattle, Washington. The album was released on 19 June 2012.
